In Leukerbad Clinic, all treatments are personalized and planned individually. Constant medical supervision is assured by a doctor specialising in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology, as well as a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

International insurance generally covers the costs associated to musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Nevertheless, coverage varies on a case-by-case basis, especially when patient wishes to follow a rehabilitation programme outside his country of residence.

As a general rule, a residential or outpatient rehabilitation programme lasts between two to three weeks.

A swimming costume for thermal water treatments in the swimming pool (since thermal water has a tendency to tarnish light colours, bring a dark costume), bathing shoes, and where necessary swimming goggles

Towels, bath sheets, bathrobe, shoes and hair dryer are supplied.

Your needs will be assessed by our occupational therapist as soon as you arrive. They will help you to choose and order the necessary equipment.

The Clinic is bilingual French-German. Most of our team also speak English and Italian.

A general medical consultation is possible from Monday to Friday, by appointment at the polyclinic.

Departures take place every day of the week from 8:30am.

For the travelers two options are available:

  • Upon request we can organize an individual transfer from the airport. The nearest airport is situated Geneva.
  • CFF Railway service
