As of January 1, 2020, the Leukerbad Clinic employed 105 team members who care for patients and listen to their needs.
Stays
In 2019, the Clinic hosted nearly 1,000 guest stays, with an average stay of 18 days.
Altitude
The clinic is ideally located at an altitude of 1,400 m, just below the altitudes recommended for sports medicine.
Rooms
From junior suites to single rooms, our rooms offer modern comfort along with medical and sanitary facilities tailored to the needs of our patients.
Technical platform
More than 1,500 m2 (excluding swimming pools) are dedicated to therapy.
Constant temperature
Our two thermal water pools - outdoor and indoor - are maintained at a constant temperature of 36°C.

History
The Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Clinic opened in 1961 with immediate recognition of by the Swiss health authorities
The neurology clinic opened in 1962
The outdoor swimming pool was constructed in 1975
The two clinics were merged in 1999
From 1987 to 2012, Dr Hans Spring, medical director of the Swiss national ski team, headed the medical team of the rehabilitation centre.
In 2012, the clinic passed from cantonal hands to a private company.
In 2015, numerous renovations were conducted in order to offer quality hotel services.

The master paintings
In Leukerbad, the landscape is picturesque, sometimes bucolic, with its fields of wildflowers and impressive mountains, at times nearly mystical when the warmth of the thermal springs bathes the resort in a light fog. However, the walls of the clinic have nothing to envy.
Indeed, at the Leukerbad Clinic you can admire many original paintings by Swiss masters from throughout history, such as Auguste Veillon, Leberecht Lortet or François Diday. They are displayed throughout the clinic for your viewing pleasure.
